Serenity is the most advanced preventative care system in the world. Our unique combination of testing and concierge services enables Serenity to use genomics and AI to detect threats to your health before they become a problem. As a member, you receive regular molecular testing, intuitive guiding tools on your phone, and continuous monitoring by world-leading genetic and medical specialists.
Preventative care focuses on the prevention of illness to decrease the burden of disease and associated risk factors.
Serenity is not intended to replace your primary care doctor. It’s an added layer of medical intelligence for your healthcare team. Our team of professionals can explain your complex genomic results to you and your doctor, and create and implement your personalized preventative care plan. The Serenity app provides guidance to maintain your health, like more frequent screenings for certain illnesses, lifestyle improvements or specific medications based on your genomic profile.
Serenity offers two separate plan options which are: Serenity Protect Plus, and Serenity Protect.
Serenity Protect Plus includes Liquid Biopsy, Clinical Exome, Pharmacogenomics, and our comprehensive blood panel.
Serenity Protect includes all of our testing except Liquid Biopsy.
Serenity’s Liquid Biopsy technology helps detect cancer-related somatic mutations in your blood. Somatic mutations are developed over time and are not passed down through family members. This test can detect early signals of seven of the most common types of cancers which include: lung, liver, pancreatic, prostate, breast, bladder, and colorectal.
Serenity’s Clinical Exome screens for genetic variations associated with future risks of developing medical issues. The test evaluates genes associated with hereditary cancer, cardiovascular, metabolic conditions, and reproductive risks. Individuals with personal or family histories warranting additional gene evaluations will have the option of a personalized panel. All this can be done through a simple oral swab taken from the comfort of your own home.
Serenity’s Pharmacogenomics test reveals how you will respond to prescription medicines and dosages based on your genetic makeup. Through an oral swab, we analyze 44 genes that show us how your body metabolizes medications and helps us find ones that are suited to you. This can prevent dangerous adverse reactions in psychiatric care, neurology, oncology, and many other specialties.
Diabetes Detection Panel
This panel includes Glucose as well as Hemoglobin A1C and eAG to determine if a person is at risk of having or developing diabetes.
Advanced Lipids Panel
With a deep dive into total cholesterol as well as triglyceride levels, this test gives insight to cardiovascular disease risk and management.
Advanced Blood Panel
This comprehensive blood panel assesses key markers for kidney and liver function, bone health, and inflammation. A full blood count is also taken which hones in on red and white cells as well as platelets to check for underlying issues.
In our clinical trial of 675 patients, Serenity’s underlying liquid biopsy technology was proven to help detect cancer signals that would not be discovered through standard screening. The cancers studied were: breast, bladder, liver, lung, prostate, pancreatic, and colorectal cancer. Our technology is proven to outperform other publicly available platforms on technical detection capabilities, detecting over 3,000 cancer-related locations with single-molecule precision.

Step Two: Complete your Serenity medical intake including personal, family and lifestyle history
Step Three: Schedule and complete your pre-test telemedicine consultation with a Serenity physician and genetic counselor. During this visit they will explain what to expect from testing. After this consultation you will schedule your at-home sample collection.
Step Four: A Serenity nurse will come to your home or office and collect 4 samples: liquid biopsy blood sample, clinical exome saliva swab, pharmacogenomics saliva swab, and blood panel blood sample.
Step Five: Your samples will go through next-generation sequencing, AI analysis, and medical review.
Step Six: Once your hyper-personalized risk report is ready, you will be prompted to schedule a post-test consultation. During this visit our Serenity physician and genetic counselor will go over your results and guide you on actionable next steps.
Ongoing: As a Serenity member, your profile continues to update based on new data. We will reach out as soon as it is available to keep you protected at all times. You also have the option to do quarterly check-ins with your Serenity specialists.
Unfortunately not. Serenity’s laboratories and team specialize in genomics, and our testing combination is unique. A concierge nurse will visit you at home to collect the samples, making it more convenient than visiting a local lab. Serenity is more than standalone testing, it provides you 365 days of preventative care and peace of mind.
All of your data is encrypted in transit and on our servers using industry standard AES encryption, leveraging AWS HIPAA compliant cloud services.
Serenity is not currently covered by medical insurance, but you can use your HSA/FSA to help pay for Serenity. Serenity is tax-deferred under FSA/HSA. You should also ask your employer if they match FSA/HSA spending, further reducing your out-of-pocket costs.
Most genetic testing available to consumers focuses on a limited number of variants associated with genetic disease. These tests must be confirmed using a clinical genetic test (like Serenity’s) with a healthcare professional before they can be trusted for medical decision-making, leaving patients to do additional testing at significant cost.
Clinical genetic testing is specific to the medical and family history of the patient and is typically comprehensive of the possible genetic causes of disease. Clinical testing rarely needs to be repeated, saving the patient time and money.
In addition to the clinical exome, Serenity provides you results for liquid biopsy, advanced blood panel and pharmacogenomics. These tests are combined with telemedicine consultations, genetic counseling, and billions of data points from global medical research. After your results are released, we guide you on your preventative care journey. A straightforward and easy to follow personalized health protection system is delivered through our simple app, with support from Serenity’s Medical Intelligence Team available to you year-round to provide you with the support you need.
Other companies that offer liquid biopsy provide only the test itself, leaving you to book a medical professional to collect the sample and rely on your primary care physician to analyze the results. Serenity’s concierge, genetic counselors and medical specialists take care of everything for you: From sample collection, to analysis, to guidance after you receive your results.
Since Clinical Exome and Pharmacogenomics tests only need to be conducted once, Serenity becomes more affordable after the first year. Serenity Protect Plus (with Liquid Biopsy) becomes $215/month for 12 months or a one-time payment of $2,300/year. Serenity Protect becomes $99/month for 12 months or a one-time payment of $1,099/year.
While no one is too young to monitor and maintain their health, Serenity does not recommend testing anyone under the age of 18, unless medically indicated to do so.
Whether results come back positive or negative, our team will review and discuss the findings in detail. If any actionable steps need to be taken, our team is here to provide seamless assistance in coordinating any follow-up care.
Yes, patients own and have access to all raw data from any test they have performed.
Our medical intelligence team is able to discuss those topics with you and provide their medical opinion as it relates to you personally.
Our member concierge can typically answer most questions related to Serenity's services and diagnostics. Depending on the nature of the question, our concierge may need to seek guidance from our physicians or genetic counselors prior to responding.
